Founded in 1955, the Order of Christian Service exists to serve the Church of Jesus Christ by means of supplying manpower for all types of employment in God's service.
Home Members all over South Africa are encouraged to fellowship together as co-workers in Christ and to seek God's will for the Order in the local context. Should you wish to join the order complete the application form and send it to the Secretary of the Order.
One who is in sympathy with the ideals of the Order, but who does not yet feel called to full membership. They would be enrolled as Associates, will receive the Newsletter, be invited to the regular prayer fellowship meetings, and can support the work in any way they like.
Field Workers make themselves available to be sent anywhere and to be put to any service by the Executive Committee of the Order for a period of two years. This period of service may be used by God to clarify the life to which He is calling His servant.
Corporate partners are vital allies in OCS's mission. Their support fuels our ability to deliver impactful aid and embody Christian values in communities we serve. By partnering with OCS, companies demonstrate a commitment to social responsibility and tangible change, becoming integral to our work of bringing hope and practical assistance to those in need.
